Who this is for. Every new WhatsApp workspace — this is the first thing to do.

Open the Connection page
Sign in to NexlyFlow, switch to the WhatsApp workspace using the toggle at the top left, then open Connection in the sidebar.

Get your credentials from Meta
In Meta Business Manager open WhatsApp → API Setup. You need three values: your WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID), the Phone number ID of the number you want to use, and a permanent access token generated from a system user.

Paste them into NexlyFlow
Fill in the three fields under Connect your WhatsApp Business account and press Save credentials. The token is encrypted before it is stored and is never shown again.

Test the connection
Press Test connection. When it succeeds, your number appears under Your numbers with its display name, quality rating and status.
One-click connect is coming. We are finishing Meta’s review for Embedded Signup. Once approved, you will be able to connect a number by logging in with Facebook — no copying tokens. Until then, use the manual method above.
A number can only live in one place. If the number is currently signed in to the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app on a phone, delete that account in the app first. Once a number is connected to the API you can no longer use it in the phone app — all messages come and go through NexlyFlow.
If something goes wrong
- Invalid access token — the token was generated for the wrong system user, or it has expired. Generate a new permanent token and save it again.
- Number not found — you pasted the WABA ID into the Phone number ID field, or the other way round. They are different numbers.
- Number already registered — the number is still attached to another WhatsApp Business Account or another provider. It has to be released there first.
